The fees charged to our funds help make our work possible, supporting the careful stewardship, oversight, and community impact you expect from the Community Foundation.

We’ve followed a thoughtful and responsible spending policy, historically allocating 4% of the endowment fund’s average balance each year over the past 16 quarters. This balanced approach allowed your gift to provide meaningful support to nonprofit partners while preserving and growing the fund for long-term impact.

Thanks to strong, long-term investment performance, we’re pleased to share that we’ve increased the spending policy for most fund types—allowing your generosity to do even more good in our community.
